Microcom is proud to offer the first ticketing printers on the market with a full color touchscreen display. The touchscreen provides your box office with a user-friendly interface that gives you the ability to change printer settings “on the fly” and grants flexibility in between print jobs that may sporadically arise. The touchscreen is a standard feature on any 485 desktop printer.

The 485TC is an industrial quality thermal ticket printer capable of handling any box-office application. From single ticket to large batch printing, this model easily manages any job thrown its way. It’s compatible with most ticketing software on the market making the integration process simple for the user. The printer can print on various styles (continuous and fanfold paper up to .013” thick) and widths of tickets (from 1.5” to 4.375”) so there’s no need to change existing ticket stock. Microcom’s 485TC comes standard with a long list of features such as Ethernet, touchscreen display, and adjustable black line sensors. Additionally, the printer boasts the largest flash memory on the market of up to 512MB for downloading graphics and scalable fonts. Batch printing is now even faster with a print speed up to 8” per second. Combine these with our optional features to create an affordable, reliable printer that can stand the test of time.

Microcom Corporation is pleased to introduce RFID technology for our newest ticketing printers, the 485 series.
The printers can print and encode tags at the same time and also detect faulty tags and let the user know by printing “VOID” across the tag. The ticket path has been upgraded to handle up to 24 mil thick stock to accommodate a variety of RFID media.

- Supports HF/ NFC tags compatible with ISO 14443, ISO 15693, and ISO 18000-6c
- Supports tags from brands such as MIFARE and NTAG
- Prints and encodes tags with the ability to reject and “VOID” defective tickets
