INTIX 2021 Recap
LEWIS CENTER, OH – February 10, 2021 – We had an absolute blast with everyone in Intixlandia who attended the virtual trade show. From the opening keynote to the closing speech, this year’s conference was one to beat!
It was unfortunate that we could not all meet in person due to the virus, but the event provided a means for the ticketing industry to gather and share information to help look forward toward reopening live events.
We had the opportunity to “send” two of Microcom’s own, our National Accounts Manager, Andrea Flowers and Sales Manager, Mark Turner, to exhibit and present this year at INTIX Live! Microcom’s “The Future of RFID in Ticketing” educational session focused on how RFID-enabled thermal tickets and digital tickets may work together to provide a solution with the same safe contactless transactions for 100% of the audience. After the presentation we hosted a question and answer, and were able to participate in a ton of engaging discussions about the future of our industry.
INTIX Live! was housed in an impressive virtual world that provided many opportunities for attendees and exhibitors to interact in a variety of settings. Personal avatars for each attendee with controls to interact with those around you (whether than be a conversation or a random dance party) created a truly unique fun experience in such torrid global time.
