LEWIS CENTER, OH – April 11, 2024 – Microcom Corporation’s first time exhibiting at RFID Journal LIVE! was a great success showing our PrintEPC™ • The All-In-One Solution to comply with the Walmart Mandate for products to have RFID-EPC Labels. Easily enter your barcode and print your RFID-EPC label. Andrea Flowers, National Account Manager, and Chris Cook, Service/Support Manager, were onsite to demonstrate the system and explain the features and benefits.

Our ReadEPC™ is a user-friendly application for reading and understanding the information contained in RFID chips. The UPC and RFID product information is displayed in an easy to understand format including a picture of the product.
Our PrintEPC™ software handles the RFID encoding, provides proof-pages for verification, and maintains the history file of printed labels and serial numbers. With our easy to use software, you just enter your product UPC barcode and our PrintEPC™ software will print the Walmart mandated RFID tag.
In many departments including Home goods, Electronics, Toys, and Sporting goods, products sold at Walmart U.S. stores require RFID tags. This includes all national, proprietary, Supplier and private brands. Walmart will be following all industry standards set forth by GS1 RFID serialized encoding standard, GS1 RFID tag placement standards and Auburn University RFID Lab ARC inlay standards.
