âThe purpose of the ARC program is to ensure that RFID tags are able to meet or exceed the levels of performance and quality necessary to provide benefit to the end userâĶ ARC works with end users in retail, aviation, and manufacturingâĶ Suppliers can purchase RFID labels or hangtags in bulk and use an RFID printer to encode their own serialized data.â
David M. Dezse, President and CEO of Microcom, said, âWe are pleased to be added to the ARC Lab resources list of RFID printer providers. The Walmart mandate requires products to have RFID-EPC labels for inventory control. Our ReadEPCâĒ is a user-friendly application for reading and understanding the information contained in RFID chips. Our PrintEPCâĒ is an all-in-one solution to print RFID labels. The ability to print their own RFID labels as needed is a significant benefit to suppliers trying to meet the new RFID mandates from Walmart and other retailers.â
