Microcom Releases Battery Powered Thermal Printer
LEWIS CENTER, OH – September 21, 2015 – Microcom Corporation is pleased to introduce the Model 238B Battery Powered Thermal Printer.
The 238B offers the smallest footprint of any printer in the Microcom line-up with internal ticket storage thanks to its compact mechanism and print engine. Equipped with a high powered, rechargeable battery, the 238B can print up to 4,000 tickets on a single charge providing reliable ticket printing virtually anywhere.
“What the 238B really offers is flexibility and convenience.” says Dave Dezse, VP and Chief Technical Officer of Microcom. “The heavy duty cutter allows for a wide variety of media options and the fact that it is battery powered means you can print anywhere you have a PC; that includes tablets too. We have also designed a mounting tray that can be paired with a mobile ticketing cart for a truly portable solution. The 238B can print anywhere the customer goes.”
